Dear friends, and brethren in Christ,

            Ka’ala View Baptist Chapel is a small church with a desire to excel in the task of going into the world to preach the gospel of Christ.

Our ministries include:

          * Weekly prison ministry at the women’s prison since 1988
          * Nursing Home visitations.
          * Emergency family assistance including food, clothing, shelter, and financial aid.
          * Individual and family counseling.
          * Bible study

Our church is active on the Waianae coast, participating in various community activities such as:

          * Adopt-A-Highway program (Highway clean-up)
          * Adopt-A-Stream (Streams and Canals clean-up)
          * Adopt-A-Block (Storm drain stenciling)

            We presently meet in a tent on our 2 acre parcel of land that previous donors helped us pay for.  We now have encountered problems trying to get the property graded to the satisfactions of the engineers who provided the original plans.  We have been taken advantage of by unscrupulous contractors yet I believe that the Lord is still with us and is encouraging us to get this land graded in accordance with the standards that we need to meet.  Our grading permit has been re-done and approved as well and our electrical permit.  We are now in contract with a company which is owned by a Christian brother.  Our contract at this time is for $150,000, not including possible cost over-runs to completely get our 2 acres up to the required standard and allow us to build a sanctuary - giving all the glory to God.  We have also an estimate to put a Sprung building 50’X90’ at $149,000 dollars.

            I would like to point out that when we moved on to this property which is located at the end of the road in a valley, where daily drug activities, prostitution, and late night road parties have now been stop due to our presence in the valley. We realize that Satan does not want us to operate here but we will be to him a thorn in his side.

            I am asking you to consider a donation of any amount or a zero interest loan to our church in order for us to get our land and our building done. I feel bad for our people having to put up with the hardships of having church in a tent but I know that God will bless our request.

Please Contact me if you have any questions.

In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Luke 11:5-8)
