About Us

ALOHA!

Welcome to Ka'ala View Baptist Chapel's Website. Our Pastor's name is Rev. James S. Brito Jr. He has been our Pastor for more than 6 years. He is the kind of pastor everyone will turn to in hard times and who encourages us and exhorts us to higher standards during the good times. He is our own "Bible Answer Man". He declares that there are no questions that cannot be answered by the Word of God. He is very serious about Christianity.

Ka`ala View's history goes back to the mid 70's. First being a mission and then incorporating to an independent but small Southern Baptist Church. We are located in Waianae, Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. The church meets in the area of Waianae known as Maili at the Pastor's home. Our average attendance is 45 and our membership is about 40.

Our church ministries include a Prison, Nursing Home, Benevolence, Youth, Sports, Vacation Bible School, and Music Ministry. We also participate in the Annual National Day of Prayer, March for Jesus, Summer Concert, and Evangelistic efforts.

Of course we are seeking help. Mostly in the area of children and youth leadership. We need teachers...people willing to serve. Ka`ala View has been called a "Children's Church"; because the ratio of youth and children to adults is high; a "Sport's Church"; because of the number sports awards given to the church; a music ministry because of the musical talent available in the church; and a caring church because when called to service someone always answers the call. We are also looking for assistance to build a chapel on our property located in the Lualualei Valley of Waianae.

We earnestly covet the prayers, hopes, suggestions, and other assistance provided by all who access this Website. You may contact our Pastor at his E-mail address linked below. Mahalo for coming to the Kaala View Baptist Chapel Website, may God Bless you with the gift of eternal life.

During our Worship Service, we sing and glorify God. We have our own Praise and Worship team with ukuleles, guitars, and tambourines. Our pastor ends the service with a Holy Spirit filled message and an invitation to receive Jesus Christ.

Ka'ala View Baptist Chapel seeks to be a Christ-centered, nurturing, spiritually vital church family that reaches out to and serves the people of our community through fellowship with God and with others

Our congregation of family and friends extends to you a warm greeting and a sincere thank you! for visiting our Web site today.

We invite you to find out more about our church. If you do not have a church home, please consider joining us in our worship and service.
